  1. Dr. Anna Baran is the featured author for MassBio’s November 2021 Thought Leadership blog. The article, “What to Consider When Partnering with a Clinical Trial Consultancy: Tips for Biotech Companies” discusses the do’s and don’ts of initiating a consulting partnership and provides general guidelines for how best to maximize investment.
  2. Dr. Dave Li & Anna Baran are featured in RAPS with their article “From real-world data to real-world evidence: An interregional perspective”. This piece discusses recent advancements in medicine as a result of combining real-world data (RWD) together with artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Paired together, RWD is increasingly integrated in regulatory and medical decision making in clinical developments, as well as in clinical decision support in medical practices.
  3. Dr. Karoline Hahn’s article, “The future of continuous bioprocessing” was published in Contract Pharma. The publication describes how advancements in the field of advanced therapy redeem the promise of curative treatments for severe and life-threatening diseases. Today, ten gene and cell therapy products have been launched to the US market and more than 1100 advanced therapies are in the pipeline. Dr. Hahn explains how their application is expanding from rare and ultra-rare diseases to more common indications with larger patient populations.
  4. Senior Consultant for Advanced Therapies, Dr. Karoline Hahn published her work “Somatic Cell Therapy — Navigating the Regulatory Landscape” in Applied Clinical Trials Magazine. The article helps understanding the pathways involved in tissue damage and repair and the biology of adult stem cells, and the promise of using them to restore function via cell replacement. in those diseases and conditions where defects are largely cell autonomous and entail the loss or dysfunction of a single class of cells, such as cancer, Parkinson´s disease, and diabetes, among many others.
